PEACE CIRCLE: Brave space for intentional conversations about race.
RACIAL HEALING CIRCLES
Need to Talk?
Racial healing has been described as a process of healing from the cumulative effects of racism --individual and societal-- most likely caused by miseducation, separation, and disunity.
Peace circles are a different way of talking about race/ism that is relational, preventative, and proactive.
The circle process taps into both ancient practices and modern processes to create trust and belonging.
Healing race/ism is the only way to restore us to our roots of full humanity.

The quality of the teacher/student daily learning experiences is at the heart of all we do. Centering Black and Brown student voices and experiences along with our most vulnerable and invisible populations is our focus. EVERY child is visible, validated, and valued! Strategizing around how this will happen is our work, and we can't settle for less.
